HOLI

I love indian culture! I like that it has so many festivals and that every festival has a meaning and also that they are so well spread over the year. And here comes holi!
Holi - the festival of colors. Apart from family get togethers the true meaning of holi is to splash colours in our life. Its just another reason to get out of that boring monotonous life of ours and splash some new elements in our life. I really get excited when i see a lot of colors on holi and i hope my childhood love for holi stays with me forever.
     Happy holi to all.

Love

Love
We all keep on talking about love and how hard it is to be in love or find that special person but we can never explain what love is. At least I can't! Up till now I have been constantly trying to explain what love is or what it is been like to be in love but i can never properly explain what i feel about love or being in love. Yesterday a friend asked me "When will you know that you are in love?" and I was like I don't know... I always thought that when I'm in love I'll just know it and may be i will but how do you explain what it is? How do you explain the feeling of being in love? You see people falling in love in movies and also you'r friends talking about it but how will you understand it?
While watching a romantic movie I came to a conclusion about love.  Love is that amazing feeling you have about someone that you just can't express in words. It is the feeling you have about someone that you just can't put in words. You just can't explain how important she is to you. Its not like you will die without her but you might forget to live for a while. I guess when you read this you might think that--yeah i always felt that way about love. Even i always knew that love was something like this but i never understood it completely. Talking so frequently about love had given me a feeling that love was- late night talking, chatting, liking and commenting on every status that has been put up on facebook, staring at the sky together, listening to romantic songs, talking sweetly to someone, caring for someone, being unable to delete someone's message just because its from that person, that beautiful face for which you would cross all limits. But with passing time I have realized that this is love for a 18 year old teenage. As we mature definition of love changes for us or rather saying it becomes clear to us what love actually is.
The problem with the word love is that we use it so often that we have understated its use. I mean using "I love you" as a passing phrase really brings down the actual value of love. Now a days we say 'love u' so casually after good night that it doesn't even make me feel special or bring a smile on my face. 'Love' is a very special word and when you say it you should actually mean it or don't say it. Its a sacred word to me. A simple 'I love you' actually makes someone's day amazing.
Using it everywhere and like something that is not meant from heart makes the word 'love' worthless. That is the reason that people don't value the "I love you" phrase that much now a days. In old days when you said "I love you" it was like the best thing that could have ever happened to the person. It was that special. The phrase meant everything to those 'hopelessly romantic fools'. People would wait for their whole life for someone to say that to them. We say it so casually that now a days people actually don't believe when they hear it from someone. The word 'love' has lost all its importance now a days.

The way you two love

Love Songs, Love Poems

She has the grace and he the charm
She knows how to make you smile,
and he can make you comfortable everytime.

As perfect as a fairytale
As unimaginable as a bollywood flick,
They came together movie style,
And now will remain together till the end of time.

If crossing seven seas was difficult,
He does that always for her love,
If long distance relationship was difficult,
He makes sure people remember them always for it.

She smiles when he smiles,
and his pain makes her cry,
Her eyes show him always,
If you want to know him ,just look at her face.

Surprising is their story,
unexpected and unimaginable,
credo the digital world,
Today she is his eyes's pearl.

Met at a chat unexpectedly,
Becoming friends was surprising,
Falling in love was destiny,
And forever together.....touch wood.

There are fights
there are issues
But then all couples fight
It is just love and care
Because I can see that in her eyes.

Hats off to you both
because you guys are not just pulling it off
There is beauty and grace
You two are the best gift of fate.

When you plan to comeover,
Her eyes shine more than stars,
And when the two of you are together
It seems that the world is just within those four bars.

Touch wood, you guys remain this way.
This is my wish, something I had to say,
Let this purity be in both of you always

It should be worth it.

I saw Break Ke Baad a few weeks earlier. Its a cool movie but i didn't like it much. It was just that the ending was not worth it. I mean i get that the guy promised her that he'll not let them break apart but he should not have accepted her that easily. When at the end she finds out that he is going to get married she realizes that she loves him and goes and say sorry and they live "happily ever after". I mean c'mmon thats not fair! In real life scenario if a guy would do that the girl would take the guy's love for granted. I personally think that she should have fought for his love.
Sometimes it gets me thinking that the end of a journey should be really worth it. I have heard and read a lot that its all about the journey. Also that we should concentrate more on the journey rather than destination but i have gone pass it. I mean at the end we are going to reach the destination, aren't we? My point is that the destination should be worth the journey. There are a lot of romantic movies where the couple go through so much pain and all, but the love story ends in such an arbit manner that u are not even able to absorb it before it ends. In a romantic movie all i want to watch is the problem that the couples are facing and how they  fight their way through life. Sweet romantic gestures, loads of kisses, old traditions, romantic rituals...... thats what makes a movie romantic, right?
My point is that whatever you do, whatever you achieve the end should always be worth the effort made to achieve it.  At the end if the ending is not worth the journey than the whole journey seems to be useless.

Genuineness

The world is getting fake. Everything is getting its fake version. Not only things, even people try to fake what they really are so as they are liked by others. They fake smiles, praise, compliments & their character. The frustation starts when you start noticing this everywhere-like facebook. It really gets me crazy when a non sense status or link gets likes & comments and mind you this is not just because no one likes my status. I mean come on REALLY. People like anything so as to be noticeable to others so that people dont forget who they are. It may be this that has gotten me to like genuineness so much. My heart really starts tickling when i see genuine behaviour around me. There's nothing like a genuine smile on your friend's face when he is really happy for you. When i do something all that matters is true, genuine opinions not fake ones. It really feels embarrasing when your facebook status gets like & comments when you know that its not THAT good. Also, half the problems in life are because you thought something was real unless you found that it was fake and your life went down. The problem with believing in fake things is that after some time you start believing that it is true.
Some people have genuineness in them. There's a friend of mine who has got this genuine laughter. I feel so good when i crack some joke and he laughs at it. It feels like my sense of humour has suddenly increased multiple times. One of the many things i hate about fakeness is the fake behaviour of girls. How easy is it for them to just smile, laugh wid boys just to have their work done. I would'nt disagree that it feels good even after knowing that its fake. The point is that it would feel a lot better once you are convinced that its genuine. Sometimes i ask myself that if i remove the fake things in my life, would i still like my life? I think the question is, How much genuine is your life? The more genuine your life is, the more you are living it. Coz life is genuine and fake is temporary.
